 ersection of life\, basketball and citizenship. Boeheim will take the stag
 e with Chris Faricy\, associate professor of political science and Hicker 
 Family Professor in Renewing Democratic Community.Boeheim has guided the O
 range to winning records in 45 of 46 campaigns and pushed Syracuse into th
 e postseason in all but four of his seasons. Syracuse has made 35 trips to
  the NCAA Tournament\, including Final Four appearances in 1987\, 1996\, 2
 003\, 2013 and 2016. The Orange won the national championship in 2003.Boeh
 eim enters the 2022-23 season ranked second among Division I head coaches 
 in victories\, trailing only former Duke mentor Mike Krzyzewski. Among Boe
 heim’s many honors\, in 2006 he was inducted into the James Naismith Memor
 ial Basketball Hall of Fame. He also served as an assistant coach on Krzyz
 ewski’s U.S. Olympic Team coaching staff that won gold medals in Beijing (
 2008)\, London (2012) and Brazil (2016).&nbsp\; This event is part of a se
