DESCRIPTION:Peer to Peer Series “Do More: Investing in Education in Pakista
 n” with Rezwana Siddiqui\, Humphrey Fellow In next fifty years the entire 
 globe will be managing the issues related to a large aging population. The
  natural endowment of its sizeable youth population today\, and similar pr
 ojections for the next fifty years\, offer great challenges and opportunit
 ies to policy makers in Pakistan to make best use of this resource. Hencef
 orth\, the country needs to “DO MORE” on the education front today. This p
 resentation aims to address some of the key aspects of a futuristic educat
 ion strategy\, which will have long lasting impact\, not just on Pakistan\
 , but the entire global village. Ms. Rezwana Siddiqui is currently a Humph
 rey Fellow at the Maxwell School where she is pursuing her interests in pu
 blic policy and public administration. She was most recently Secretary\, S
 trategic Planning of the Federal Board of Revenue\, Federal Government of 
 Pakistan. Rezwana aspires to achieve good governance\, through curtailment
  of discretionary powers of public servants\, broad-based structural refor
 ms\, coupled with an enhanced role of IT. Previously\, she was a Project D
 irector in the education sector\, where she managed four public sector pro
 jects with a cumulative cost of Pak Rupees 2.267 Billion (~US $ 37.0 Milli
 on). Based on her experience in the education sector\, Rezwana will offer 
 some success-stories many of which have never received wide-spread media c
 overage. When: Wednesday\, March 28\, 2012 Where: 204 Maxwell Hall Time: 1

 c Administration students to share issues\, problems or successes with the
 ir fellow students. Each student guest speaker will speak for about 20-30 
 minutes and then we will have a 20-30 minute discussion time. This event i
