  prompting these changes\, as well as\nAmnesty’s lessons from GTP. He will
  also cover the critical need for changes in\nthe areas of culture and beh
 aviors during Amnesty’s next strategic phase\,\ncalled ‘Fuerza’\n(Spanish 
 for ‘force’).\n\n\n\nMinar\nPimple has\nfocused on the consequences of soc
 ial discrimination\, marginalization and\nexclusion due to the caste syste
 m in India since his youth. He was the founder\nand executive director of 
 YUVA (Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action) in India\,\nMinar also\nwas th
 e Founder Chair of Oxfam India. He led the Peoples Decade for Human\nRight
 s Education\, as well as the Human Rights Cities program at the UN\nDevelo
 pment Program (UNDP). More recently\, he was the Regional Director of the\
 nUN Millennium Campaign for the Asia Pacific region. He currently is Senio
 r\nDirector at Amnesty International for Global Operations\, where he lead
 s the\norganization’s ambitious roll out of 15 Regional Offices across the
