She uses mixed methods app roaches to study ways of\nintegrating caregivers into health care teams fo r older adults and patients\nwith cancer with the goal of improving the qu ality of care for patients and\nsupporting well-being among caregivers. Fo r example\, she examines the potential\nfor health information technologie s to support caregiver inclusion in health\ncare visits.
