 apers that connect policy design concepts and theories with policy process
  models\, theories and frameworks in which policy design is implicitly or 
 explicitly recognized but otherwise conceptually or empirically underatten
 ded.&nbsp\;We welcome papers that address a wide range of theories\, metho
 ds and cases that will help to enhance scholarly understanding of policy d
 esign throughout the policy process. We are hoping to attract a diverse gr
 oup of scholars who approach policy design from different perspectives. We
  strongly encourage submissions from women\, international and minority sc
 holars\, broadly defined.The International Conference on Public Policy Des
 ign is being co-sponsored by the University of Miami Department of Politic
 al Science\, Syracuse University’s Center for Policy Design and Governance
 \, the Policy Studies Journal\, and Policy Theory &amp\; Practice. Select 
 papers presented at the conference will be invited for a special issue on 
 policy design to be published in the Policy Studies Journal (special issue
  editors: Cali Curley and Saba Siddiki).&nbsp\;Please submit a one-page ab
 stract describing the intended content of your conference paper using the
