 th activist and a project coordinator for Saferworld.\nSince 2010\, he has
  focused on empowering youth to play an active role in Yemen\nreform polic
 ies\, conducting workshops in Sana’a\, Hodiedah\, and\nAden to engage yout
 h with the reform plan and give advice to policy\nmakers.&nbsp\; He also c
 reated the largest advocacy youth group that tackles\npublic policy issues
  and organizes meetings between activists and policymakers\nfrom Sana’a to
  Berlin and Brussels.&nbsp\; Mr. Al-Shami has\nconducted debates for youth
  on national and international television to voice\ntheir opinions on Fede
 ralism\, political inclusion\, the role of local councils\nand NGOs in pur
 suit of greater political transparency\, and youth empowerment.\nOver the 
 years\, he has trained over 200 young activists from across the\ncountry\,
  and organized more than 10 advocacy campaigns focused on political\nparti
