 \, Amazon\, School\nLibrary Journal\, and Kirkus Reviews. She is also the 
 author of&nbsp\;The Whole\nStory of Half a Girl&nbsp\;(Yearling)\, which w
 as named a Sydney\nTaylor Notable Book and a South Asia Book Award Highly 
 Commended selection\, and\nthe chapter book series\,&nbsp\;Phoebe G. Green
 &nbsp\;(Grosset &amp\; Dunlap). She\nearned her MFA in fiction writing at 
 Sarah Lawrence College. A former book\neditor at Simon &amp\; Schuster\, s
 he now teaches creative writing at Sarah\nLawrence College’s Writing Insti
