 kind of conflict style do you have? How does it impact the way in which yo
 u deal with conflict?\nUnderstanding the various conflict styles can help 
 bridge understanding in how you and others react to conflict. Also learn a
  powerful tool that can help deal with emotions associated with interperso
 nal conflict- reflective listening. \nReflective listening helps address t
 hese high emotions in order to allow 'room' to address the conflict. \nAdd
  these two 'tools' to your conflict management toolbox in an interactive\,
  participatory workshop format.\n1 pm-3:30 pm: Train the Trainer: First Ye
 ar ForumThis session\, which will be held immediately after Basic Training
  Part 1\, will train interested volunteers who attend the morning session 
 on being a CMC Associate for SU's First Year Forum (FYF).\nThe FYF initiat
 ive helps freshmen gain the knowledge and skills for a more successful col
 lege career. \nIt involves small groups of freshmen who meet with a facult
 y member on a regular basis on a variety of topics. \nOne of the options f
 or FYF is an approximately 1-hour workshop on the basics of conflict manag
 ement- and the requests are already pouring in!\nWe will cover everything 
 you need to know in order to be a trainer using this CMC-developed curricu
 lum. \nDuring the workshop\, participants will gain experience actually us
 ing this curriculum that is utilized in the first year student session. \n
 Trainers will be paired with an experienced CMC trainer during these works
 hops.&nbsp\;\nYou are encouraged to attend both portions and stay the enti
 re day. However\, if you are unable to or you are just interested in the B
 asic Training portion\, please attend Part 1 of the training. It is really
  important as it provides a foundation for other CMC workshops!The worksho
