Bio
Sam was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She earned a B.A. in political science from St. John Fisher College in 2017. Her research interests include comparative and American politics, with a focus on party politics and the rise of the far right in Europe.
Sam spent a semester studying and working in Paris, France. While there, she was an intern for SciencesPo’s research centers, CERI and CEVIPOF. She worked with the French electoral archives and helped gather data for a project on populist demagogues.
She looks forward to continuing and expanding her research into the far right in Europe with the help of Syracuse University.
