Bio

Tae Hyun is interested in comparative political economy, especially how the developed countries cope with emerging issues such as the internationalization of the economy, technological advancements, aging society, and inequality. He seeks the democratic domestic politics' role in facing these similar issues and how the reactions vary by their political-economic institutions. His dissertation analyzes childcare policy development in South Korea. As a PhD candidate, he majors in Comparative Politics and Public Administration and Public Policy. He holds a Bachelor in Law and a Masters in International Relations from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and a Masters in Economics from Syracuse University.
