“Maxwell really shaped my career by providing broad marketable skills that allowed me flexibility. When I was at Maxwell I thought I wanted to do State and Local Finance yet I ended up in Federal Service--more specifically, health policy,” she says. “The skills I learned at Maxwell prepared me for this. Maxwell allows students to gain a variety of soft and hard skills that can easily be applied to any job. I loved my time at Maxwell not only did I develop the skills needed to excel at my job, I made lifelong friends.”
Her advice to students? “Learn all you can. Even if you think you know exactly what you want to do after graduation make sure you take advantage of getting all the skills that Maxwell offers. You never know where you are going to end up. Also make sure to take time to enjoy and learn from your fellow classmates.”
