State of Democracy Lecture

Lori Ginzberg, Professor of History and Women's Studies at Penn State University, will discuss her recent authored book, Elizabeth Cady Stanton: An American Life. Known as a social activist and American suffragist, Stanton was a prominent figure in the early women's rights effort. Professor Ginzberg's lecture will focus on the lessons Elizabeth Cady Stanton's life and work offer for modern feminism and democracy. This lecture is sponsored by Norman M. and Marsha Lee Berkman.
