Wen Wang

These pages are posed by the Education Finance and
Accountability Program (EFAP) to honor the memory of Wen Wang.
Wen was a graduate student at Syracuse, and a
research associate in the Center for Policy Research, from 2002 to 2006.
He was a dedicated student and a wonderful person, and many people affiliated
with EFAP, including me, are fortunate to have worked with him—both at Syracuse
and after he graduated.
These pages describe the many valuable
contributions Wen made, in such a short time, to the study of public budgeting
and finance. They also include tributes by several of his colleagues.
Wen will be sorely missed. I for one will always
remember his kind and gentle manner, his devotion to his family, his high
integrity, and his dedication to life as a scholar.
