This event was a gathering of econometricians and empirical economists whose successful goals were: (1) Bring together a group of econometricians/empirical economists and guests of host universities to discuss issues in econometrics, both applied and theoretical; (2) Present papers for comments by participants; (3) Stimulate student interest in econometrics; (4) Help students develop their technical presentation skills by encouraging the students of host universities to participate in the meetings, contribute to the
poster session and present papers.

Transportation and Directions to the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel
The 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel is located at 200 Riverside Drive, Clayton, New York 13624. The resort is accessible by air to the Watertown International Airport and then by car (30-35 minute drive to hotel), or Syracuse Airport and then by car (1.5 hours drive to hotel) or by train, and by automobile:
From I-81 South, take Route 12 West towards Clayton. Turn right on Webb St. Head to end of street for hotel.
From I-90, take I-81 north to Watertown. Take exit #47 for Route 12 North (left) towards Clayton. In 20 miles, turn right onto State St., then .2 miles make a left on Webb St., head to end of street for hotel.

To waive the taxes on your hotel accommodations you must either
Pay with a university credit card
One of the following Tax Exempt Certificates must accompany reservation request form to receive tax-exempt status: NYS TAX EXEMPTION - Form AC-946– or – ST-129 from each person claiming exemption if they are paying with cash, personal check or credit card and is an employee of NYS or a state run facility (if state voucher is used no form is needed)
