Joshua Grove is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology. He is interested in the intersection of addiction and religion/spirituality. In addition, he is studying the ways in which addiction is influenced by family dynamics, sexuality, and religious beliefs. Prior to coming to Syracuse, Joshua was a pastor working with people in recovery from addiction to heroin/fentanyl.
