Krushna is a Ph.D. student in the Social Science program. Before coming to Syracuse, she worked as a research assistant at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai, on studies focusing on impact evaluations of workfare programs, and on food security, agriculture and nutrition. She has a Master's degree in economics, with a minor in development studies, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Krushna works with Professor Rebecca Schewe in CPR.
