Bio
Ana Jones was born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina. She attended an Early College High School and graduated from high school with both a high school diploma and Associates in Arts degree in 2015. She went on to attain her B. A. in political science from North Carolina Central University in May 2017. She was active in many organizations encouraging political involvement and grassroots organizing during her tenure in Durham, NC. She was presented with many opportunities to gain valuable knowledge of the world of graduate studies, especially through her experience at the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute in 2016. Though her political interests vary, she is most interested in Civic Engagement and Political Philosophy.
