Building an Infrastructure for Peace. Professor Louis Kriesberg will lead a discussion of the growth of thinking and structures conducive to peace, particularly since the end of the Cold War. The insufficiency that infrastructure to meet the current challenges will be noted. Possible paths toward a stronger and broader supportive environment will be discussed. Finally, personal steps that might be taken to make progress on those paths will be invited and considered.
Conversations in Conflict Studies is a weekly educational speaker series for students, faculty, and the community. The series, sponsored by PARCC, draws its speakers from Syracuse University faculty, national and international scholars and activists, and PhD students. Pizza is served.
