Maxwell alumni and friends are invited to join us on Wednesday, June 24 at 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET for another Maxwell conversation with Professor Emeritus Bob McClure. In Change in American Society through Government Action: Slow Boring Of Hard Boards, Professor McClure will reflect on spontaneous public outcries for change in America's history and address questions including, What success have these outcries had? And how long does it take for real results?

Bob McClure is professor emeritus of political science and public affairs at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He served for 45 years on the School’s administration and faculty, including as Senior Associate Dean, a Maxwell Professor of Teaching Excellence, and as the inaugural Chapple Family Professor of Citizenship and Democracy. His interests include political leadership and the presidency, democratic institutions, and mass communication.
