Maxwell Humphrey Fellows visit ICMA
ICMA, the International City/County Management Association, recently hosted a delegation of Humphrey Fellows, including five Fellows from the Syracuse program. They visited the Washington, D.C. office of the international organization in order to gain insight into local government practices in the U.S. There they met with the team leader for U.S. programs and the director of new initiatives.
Fatih Akbulut (Turkey), Nicolas Hernandez (Colombia), Saidal Luni (Pakistan), Umar Riaz (Pakistan) and Baloko Makala (Rwanda) were the Maxwell Humphrey Fellows who were among members of the delegation. Mutriba Latypova, also a Maxwell Humphrey Fellow, completed her professional affiliation at ICMA.
