Capt. Timothy J. Johnson comes to the Maxwell School as part of the Defense Comptrollership
Program. He is a Financial Management Officer. While pursuing his
EMPA, he wishes to learn more about the federal budget and international
defense cooperation. Before entering the DCP, Timothy was the Commander of
Charlie Detachment, 106th Financial Management Support Unit in Vicenza, Italy.
After graduation he hopes to either go back to a Budget job or spend some time
at the US Army Financial Management School in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Timothy has served more than 8 years of
active military duty and graduated from St. John’s University in 2009 and
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a math minor.
