Ms. Silva comes to Syracuse University from Ecuador where she works to design and implement projects on accountability, social control and human rights for Ecuador’s citizens.  Through her studies and research she will focus on public policy analysis, democracy, anti- corruption, nonprofit administration and techniques for citizens to be able to exercise their rights and responsibilities.  She aims to promote social and political groups to assist government in improving public administration, fiscal accountability and citizen accessibility of public information as well as in promoting peaceful social change in Ecuador’s government and civil society.  She most recently earned a Master’s degree in Political Science at Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLASCO).
