Other Certificates Options

Executive Education students can enroll in certificate programs administered by other departments and institutes within Maxwell as well as other Syracuse University schools and colleges. The three programs identified here have been the most popular choices in the past.

        2) Environmental Decision Making,
) Security Studies

Conflict Resolution

The Certificate of Advanced Study in Conflict Resolution is a 12 credit certificate that may be pursued by graduate students alongside their graduate degree or by midcareer professionals looking to stay relevant in the realm of conflict resolution. Matriculated graduate students at Syracuse University and SUNY ESF may complete this certificate in conjunction with their graduate degree, while midcareer Professionals are able to do so via a stand-alone graduate program. Environmental Decision Making

Public administration students have the opportunity to pursue the Graduate Certificate in Environmental Decision Making. To earn this certificate students must complete 15 credits (five courses).  Application and admission procedures are administered through ESF's Office of Instruction and Graduate Studies, 227 Bray Hall, State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). <more information>



Security Studies

The Security Studies certificate recognizes graduate students who have sought to prepare themselves as professionals in the endlessly expanding fields of national security and counterterrorism.  A certificate recognizing this accomplishment is available to graduate students in good standing who have taken a concentration of courses during their graduate degree program at Syracuse University. This program is administered by the Institute for National Security and Counrterterrorism (Maxwell School & Law School). <more information>
