  • Forever Orange The Campaign for Syracuse University

    Now more than ever

Many of our alumni have asked how they can help students in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. We’re making efforts to protect our Syracuse community, on and off campus.

If you’d like to help, please consider a gift to the Maxwell Dean’s fund to support our students as they face unexpected costs related to travel, technology access, health and wellness, and other unforeseen circumstances during this challenging time.

  • Giving Stories

New PAIA class includes four Robertson Fellows

The Maxwell School is pleased to announce that four new Robertson Foundation for Government Fellows are among the 2018-19 cohort of master’s students in Public Administration and International Affairs who began classes in July. They join three who started programs last year, bringing the total number of Fellows to seven.

Strasser Professorship deepens alum’s philanthropic legacy at Maxwell

A new, $3-million philanthropic commitment from alumnus Joseph Strasser ’53 BA (History)/’58 MPA will create a permanently endowed and named professorship in public administration at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, while also building on a legacy of giving that places Strasser among the most significant Maxwell donors of all time.

    Memories Repaid

Fond recollections of an undergrad career five decades ago inspire Elliot Stamler to plan a significant bequest to his long-ago home department, Political Science.

  • Commitment to Inclusion

The Maxwell School stands in support of all who are demanding change in the face of racism, violence, and hate speech. We are committed to making our school, our university, and our communities more inclusive and just for all.

There is absolutely no place for behavior or language that degrades any individual or group’s race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, disability, or religious beliefs.
