  • Forever Orange The Campaign for Syracuse University

    Now more than ever

Many of our alumni have asked how they can help students in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. We’re making efforts to protect our Syracuse community, on and off campus.

If you’d like to help, please consider a gift to the Maxwell Dean’s fund to support our students as they face unexpected costs related to travel, technology access, health and wellness, and other unforeseen circumstances during this challenging time.

  • Giving Stories

    Hedrick gift establishes Huxley/Hedrick Scholarship

The Huxley/Hedrick Scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to first-generation undergraduate students enrolled in the Maxwell School. Its mission is to ease the financial burden of a college education so Maxwell can continue to educate future generations of civically engaged leaders, supporting the donor’s broader goal of helping alleviate income inequality through education.

Weitzen gift establishes the Foreign Policy Scholars Fund

A gift commitment from alumna Jill Weitzen MacDonald ’74 MPA has established the Weitzen Foreign Policy Scholars Fund, which will provide scholarship and financial assistance to Maxwell School master’s students who have demonstrated interest in foreign policy and international affairs.

    Palmers supporting professional master’s students

University Professor John L. Palmer, a former long-time dean of the School, and his wife, Stephanie G. Palmer, have made a major gift commitment to the Maxwell School that will create an endowed fund supporting Maxwell professional master’s students, with an emphasis on financial aid and career development services.

  • Commitment to Inclusion
