Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fund - Fellowships
The amount of the Fellowship will cover actual tuition
costs plus an $18,000 annual stipend to be allocated towards room, board
and ordinary living expenses, as well as any income taxes thereon.
Fellowship candidates must have an outstanding undergraduate record, demonstrate financial need, conduct research in the US, and be attending a designated college or university. Applicants need to apply through the Graduate School, Syracuse University: The Graduate School, 304 Lyman Hall, Syracuse, New York 13244.
Graduate students in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, or architecture) are invited to apply for the Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship.
Mrs. Liebmann was the daughter of Krikor Zohrab, a prominent Armenian intellectual, writer and statesman. She supported students and educational and charitable organizations during her lifetime. Funding interests include:
- Graduate school fellowships in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture or other formal professional training)
- Independent research or study projects which must be carried out entirely in the United States of America.
- Publications focusing on Armenian studies, Armenian history and Armenian literature of the nineteenth century or earlier.
