Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation - Faculty Research Grants
Faculty Research Grants sponsor current faculty to conduct research in Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates as part of a sabbatical leave. The grant includes return economy airfares, in-country accommodation, per diem, and research support. Depending on the project, additional funding may be allocated to cover actual expenses of the research.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation - Doctoral Research Grants
The Al Qasimi Foundation's Doctoral Research Grants encourage scholars from a wide range of disciplines and professional fields to undertake research toward informing policy-making in the United Arab Emirates. Doctoral Research Grants financially support PhD candidates in the research phase of their dissertations. Currently, two awards are available each year for applied research projects that have Ras Al Khaimah as a primary site for data gathering and analysis.

The Council on Foreign Relations’ (CFR) Fellowship Program offers unique opportunities for mid-career professionals focusing on international relations. The program affords fellows the opportunity to broaden their perspective of foreign affairs and to pursue proposed research, with a placement at either CFR or another institution in New York City or Washington, DC.
