American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) - Public Fellows Competition for Recent PhDs
The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) invites applications for the eighth competition of the Mellon/ACLS Public Fellows program. This year, the program will place up to 25 recent PhDs from the humanities and humanistic social sciences in two-year term staff positions at partnering organizations in government and the nonprofit sector. Fellows will participate in the substantive work of these organizations and receive professional mentoring.
Library of Congress (LOC) - John W. Kluge Center - Kluge Fellowship
The Library of Congress invites qualified scholars to conduct research in the John W. Kluge Center using the Library of Congress collections and resources. The Kluge Center especially encourages humanistic and social science research that makes use of the Library's large and varied collections. Interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, or multi-lingual research is particularly welcome.
Charles Koch Foundation - Grants
The Charles Koch Foundation supports research that spurs social progress, well-being, and long-term prosperity. Although we invite proposals for a select number of issues, we encourage proposals for any research that shares the goals and vision of the Charles Koch Foundation.
International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) - Fellowships
The position of International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) affiliated fellow is intended for outstanding researchers from around the world, to work on an important aspect of Asian studies research in the social sciences and humanities. Interdisciplinary interests are encouraged. The IIAS also welcome researchers who would like to work on a collaborative grant proposal or develop their PhD thesis into a book publication.
