ANNOUNCEMENT - Human Subject Research Collaborative Meeting on November 3
Developed in 2016, the Human Subjects Research Collaborative
is a Syracuse University campus-wide collective of nearly 60 researchers who
meet regularly in-person and via listserv to solve recruitment and logistical
issues around human subjects research. In the 16-17 academic year, the group
developed a proposal to create a campus-wide participant database, created and
shared a biosafety-approved SOP for graduate students collecting biological
samples, and shared information and ideas for recruitment. In the coming year,
the group plans to expand membership and engage human service leaders to
strengthen our ties to the Syracuse community.
The next meeting will be Friday, November 3 at 2:00 pm in 411 McNaughton Hall. The meetings are open to anyone
interested in human subjects research. Please R.S.V.P. to: Amy Dumas, Grants Development
Specialist, Falk College at firstname.lastname@example.org
315.443.4925. If you cannot attend the meeting, but are interested in
learning more about the group, please email Amy to be added to the listserv.
