The Goodwin Cooke Award for Leadership in International Relations 2012:
This year’s recipient of the Goodwin Cooke Award for Leadership in International Relations has combined her major in International Relations here in the Maxwell School with a major in Advertising in the Newhouse School of Communications. Her topic concentration in International Relations is International Political Economy, and her geographic region concentration is Asia. She was a member of our 2011 delegation to the National Model United Nations conference portraying the Republic of Kazakhstan, where she served as a representative of GA2nd Committee and is currently a member of our 2012 delegation portraying the Republic of Gabon, where she served as a representative to the Commission on the Status of Women and as co-head delegate of the Syracuse University-Maxwell School delegation. She has also participated in the Renée Crown University Honors Program, volunteered with the Say Yes to Education program, worked as a Resident Advisor, served as managing editor of THE OUTCROWD magazine, and as an advertising representative for THE DAILY ORANGE.
