National Coordinator for Publish What You Pay (PWYP)
Jana Morgan is the National Coordinator for Publish What You Pay (PWYP) US. Publish What You Pay is a global network of civil society organizations united in their call for an open and accountable extractive sector, so that oil, gas and mining revenues improve the lives of women, men and youth in resource-rich countries. The global network is made up of more than 650 member organisations across the world, including human rights, development, environmental and faith-based organisations. Before accepting her coordinating position, Morgan worked as an Assistant Policy Advisor at Global Witness, where she undertook policy work on conflict minerals. She is also the Co-Director of the Weave News, a citizen journalism project started at St. Lawrence University in 2006. She earned a master's degree in international relations from the Maxwell School in 2008 and has a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University.
