About a 21-year old Tamil film star named Kasthuri and her life and views on movies in India. India has the largest movie making industry in the world. The film aims to show another side of India to the poverty and dirt usually depicted by the U.S. media. "I wanted to show normal, articulate people who look at their culture with the same sense of humour and maturity that we look at our culture" explains the director, Richard Breyer, Professor at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communication.
