Organization: World Concern, a faith-based organization that provides disaster response and development programs to suffering people around the world
Research Topic: “Transforming People and Communities: Changing World Views”. Dr. Long’s research question was: “In what ways can NGOs—given our necessary bias to implementation rather than research and limitations on funding--reliably monitor or evaluate changes in world view relevant or perhaps even necessary to the success and sustainability of the intervention?”
Brief Bio: Dr. Long supervises programs in Asia, Africa, Haiti and Bolivia, and has oversight of our HIV/AIDS programs. He previously worked at World Relief as vice president for Planning and Integration and director of International Health Programs.
