Humphrey Fellow credits LaunchPad for entrepreneurial experience
Maxim Glagolev, a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, started Geeklama, an online coding school that makes quality live coding lessons available to all kids. The Blackstone LaunchPad helped connect him with U.S. experts in specialized areas such as incorporation and finance as Geeklama launched in this country.

Maxwell welcomes four Robertson Fellows as part of new MPA/MAIR class
All Robertson fellows at Maxwell receive funding for two years of study, allowing them to pursue one of the joint degrees offered through Public Administration and International Affairs; the grants cover not only full tuition, but a living stipend, health insurance, and assistance in finding a summer internship. All four of this year’s incoming fellows will pursue the joint M.P.A./M.A.I.R. degree.

Amid impeachment trial, UPA program provides look at US politics
About 20 public policy graduate students from the Universidad Panamericana’s (UPA) Mexico City campus arrived in Washington, D.C., in the middle of the U.S. Senate’s impeachment trial of President Donald Trump. “They had lots of questions, from the politics of impeachment, to the mechanics, to what it said about the structure of U.S. political institutions,” says Grant Reeher, professor of political science and director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute.
