Bertini discusses global food security at Purdue University

On November 2, 2016 Catherine Bertini, former executive director of the United Nations World Food Programme and 2003 World Food Prize laureate, joined Purdue University President, Mitch Daniels, for an in-depth discussion on global food security at the opening program of Purdue's 2016-2017 Presidential Lecture Series. Bertini shared some of the issues faced in getting food to various developing countries and how she was able to shift the focus to women in agriculture at the WFP.
