Boroujerdi piece on Iran's Chief Justice published by Atlantic Council
"Ebrahim Raisi: Iran’s New Chief Justice and Possible Supreme Leader in Waiting," written by Professor Mehrzad Boroujerdi, was published in the Atlantic Council blog. "Raisi is indisputably well versed in judicial affairs considering that he has spend the last thirty-nine years in that branch and has held progressively more significant positions," writes Boroujerdi. "However, the non-judicial parts of his resume are also eye-catching and suggest that his elevation to head of the judiciary may be a prelude to ultimate authority in the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Boroujerdi was also quoted in the Arab Weekly article on Ebrahim Raisi, "Iran’s new judiciary chief eyes Khamenei’s succession."
