Bower promoted to associate principal at Dewberry

Meg BowerMargaret Bower ’96 MPA has been named an associate principal at Dewberry, a civil engineering firm headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia.

Bower is a planner in Dewberry’s justice architecture group and has extensive experience with planning studies of criminal-justice and other civic buildings. Dewberry, with more than 2,000 employees spread across more than 50 locations in 18 states, works with both public and private sector clients on a wide range of planning, design, and construction projects.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, Bower has been with Dewberry since 2006, most recently as a senior associate. In this role Bower has specialized in law enforcement, criminal justice, and correctional facility planning with local, state, and federal agencies. She previously worked for Carter Goble Lee Companies as a project manager, analyst, and planner assisting with needs assessments and feasibility studies.
