Davis moves to Seneca County Industrial Development Agency

Sarah DavisSarah Davis ’16 MPA has been named the executive director of the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency (SENIDA).

In her new position, Davis will lead the organization as it works to expand commercial, industrial, and recreational opportunities across Seneca County. SENIDA advances job opportunities and economic welfare across the county by providing financial assistance including bond financing, leasing/leasebacks, and taxation exemptions. A public benefit corporation, SENIDA works with site selectors, CEOs, and local business owners to build partnerships for the benefit of employers and those who live in Seneca County.

Davis was previously the GENIUS NY program coordinator with CenterState CEO. In that role Davis managed CenterState’s program portfolio, which included 17 startups, planned workshops and investor events, and connected companies with numerous business supports. Davis has also served as a constituent liaison in the 127th New York State Assembly District and interned with U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, the New York State Democratic Committee, and the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies.
