Elman presents on US foreign policy challenges in the Middle East

Elman, MiriamAssociate professor Miriam F. Elman was a guest speaker at the Century Club in downtown Syracuse, where she delivered a talk on “The Middle East: Challenges for U.S. Foreign Policy”.  Nearly 80 Club members attended the lecture. Elman’s talk was the kick-off event for a five-week lecture series at the Club, which Elman organized. Titled “World Events—What’s Happening in the World”, the speaker series will feature four other Maxwell School affiliated faculty who will speak on topics ranging from radical Islam in sub-Saharan Africa and Turkey’s foreign policies to U.S.-Mexico relations and Russia’s actions in its near-abroad. 01/21/16
