Elman wins spot in Tikvah Fund's prestigious Advanced Institute
Following a competitive application process open to accomplished
professionals across the globe, Miriam F. Elman (Associate Professor, Political
Science) has been selected to participate in the Tikvah Fund's 2015 Advanced
Institute. It will be held in Washington, D.C. from December 13-18. Elman was
one of only several North American academics selected to take part in the week
long Institute which will involve workshops and seminars on the topic of
"The Past, Present, and Future of the U.S.-Israel Strategic Relationship."
According to the Tikvah Fund, the Institute, which is also underwritten by the
Hertog Foundation, provides an opportunity for select participants to network
with other public policy experts, philanthropists, journalists, and educators.
The Institute will be run by current and former experts from the National
Security Council, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Hudson Institute, and
others. Participants receive a generous stipend. For more information on the
