Isquierdo appointed chief human resources officer at Bryan Health
Maria Isquierdo ’90 MPA has been named the
chief human resources officer at Bryan Health, a regional nonprofit healthcare
system operating throughout Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri.
With more than 20 years’ experience in human
resources, Isquierdo will lead employee recruitment and retention across the
Bryan Health system. She will also be responsible for improving customer
service, workforce training, and staff development efforts. Bryan Health
manages statewide networks of doctors, hospitals, and other medical providers,
specializing in mobile diagnostic and treatment, telemedicine and mental health
counseling, and heart care clinics. As part of these efforts, Bryan Health
sponsors the Heartland Health Alliance, a network of 50 hospitals that aims to
improve the delivery of rural healthcare across the region.
Prior to joining Bryan Health, Isquierdo
worked as the executive director of human resources in the Saint Francis Health
System, based out of Tulsa, Okla. She has also recently worked for the
University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, and the
SCL Health System.
