Maxwell geography PhD student featured in Seattle Times article on big data project

Sean Wang, a PhD student in geography, participated in a summer research project on "big data for social good" at the University of Washington. Specifically, the team took 21 million ORCA-card readings and compiled the data into a form that can be used to discover valuable information to help improve transit services.
