McCormick publishes article commemorating student massacre in Mexico

Gladys McCormick 2017

"Remembering Mexico’s Dirty War 50 Years After Tlatelolco," written by Gladys McCormick, associate professor of history and the Jay and Debe Moskowitz Endowed Chair in Mexico-U.S. Relations, was published by the North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA). McCormick argues that president-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador could show he is serious about taking a new approach to tackling problems of corruption and impunity in the judiciary and law enforcement by bringing justice to the families of those who disappeared during Mexico’s dirty wars in the 1970s. 10/03/18
