Monnat discusses COVID-19 testing with Miami Herald, Syracuse.com
Shannon Monnat, Lerner Chair for Public Health Promotion, says the absence of mass testing during the early stage of the coronavirus pandemic likely led to more spread of the disease. "If people aren’t being tested, you’re risking not only spread, but greater severity of the illness." Monnat also spoke to Syracuse.com about COVID-19 testing.
