Noel made chief partnership officer at after-school program provider
Rigaud Noel ’04 BA (PSc) has been appointed
chief partnership officer by New York Edge, an after-school programming
provider working across New York City’s metropolitan region.
Noel previously served as New York Edge’s
senior director of public development and educational partnerships. In this
expanded role, he will serve as part of the organization’s executive leadership
team and help guide its efforts to build and grow partnerships, to help
increase funding for after-school programming, and to increase private and
grant-supported development revenue.
New York Edge (formerly the Sports & Arts
in Schools Foundation) is a nonprofit that serves as the largest provider for
after-school programs across New York’s five boroughs. Offering more than 300
programs, serving more than 40,000 students in grades K-12. New York Edge also
provides year-round programming for under-resourced students.
Noel has been with New York Edge since 2008,
when he served as a site director, and has worked with other nonprofits serving
New York City — as a center director for the Police Athletic League, a program
director for the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, and attendance
improvement/drop-out prevention director with the Children's Aid Society.
