PAIA faculty host Global Governance Conference
Twenty-seven scholars and practitioners from nine countries participated in a workshop, "Public Administration in the Context of Global Governance," hosted by Professors Soonhee Kim, Shena Ashley, and Harry Lambright on June 13-14, 2013, in New York City. Participants presented 17 papers exploring global policy implementation, international organizations and global governance actors, citizenship and accountability, and professionalism and leadership in government. The workshop represents a pioneering effort to understand the intellectual space at the intersection of public administration and international affairs and to help shape and inform public administration scholarship. A journal symposium and edited book will follow. More information can be found at: http://globalgovernance.syr.edu
