Pulliam co-authors report comparing different tax credit policies
Maxwell alumnus Chris Pulliam ’17 BA (Econ/Psc)/’18 MPA
co-authored “Lots of plans to boost tax credits: which is best?” for the
Brookings Institution. The report, which was co-authored with Isabel Sawhill,
examines various proposed and current tax credit policies in the United States,
including the earned income tax credit, child tax credit, and workers tax
credit.
Pulliam works as a research assistant at the Brookings’
Center on Children and Families. Since starting last year, Pulliam has
co-authored two research reports and four blog posts for Brookings, ranging
from discussions on tax policy to an analysis of the middle-class’ growing
social safety net. He was recently featured in the Fall 2018 issue of the
Maxwell Perspective.
You can read Pulliam’s report on the Brookings website.
