Rottkamp made president and CEO of nonprofit Dutchess Tourism
Melaine Rottkamp
’91 BA (PSc) is the new president and CEO
of Dutchess Tourism, the official destination marketing and management
organization for Dutchess County, New York.
Rottkamp was
previously vice president for Dutchess Tourism, which she joined in 2012. She
has played various roles for the organization, including director of special
events, outreach and administration; and was extensively involved in its move
to independent, nonprofit status. As president, she will manage Dutchess
Tourism’s branding, advertising and marketing efforts, and various business
support and education programs.
At Syracuse, Rottkamp also
earned a degree in public relations from the Newhouse School of Public
Communications.
