Driving Directions and Parking
Syracuse University is most easily reached from Interstate 81. New York State Thruway travelers should exit at Interstate 81 (Thruway Exit 36) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on Interstate 81 should exit at Adams Street (Exit 18.) Continue up the Adams Street hill to the third traffic light. Cross University Avenue and turn left into the University Avenue Garage. After parking, walk south (slightly uphill) on University Avenue until it ends at a T. The building immediately before you is the Hall of Languages, and the Maxwell School is two buildings to the right. See online campus map.
Some on-street parking exists along University Avenue and streets to the east. Note that on most streets parking alternates from side to side based on the date; read signs carefully. Also, some spaces require meter payment during posted times.

Syracuse is served by Hancock International Airport, with terminals for most major airlines operating in the Northeast.
Century Transportation provides taxi and van service on an exclusive basis at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Passengers requiring ground transportation service can register with Century at one of the dispatch areas located near each baggage claim location.
Century also offers a shuttle van service, which is an economical alternative for individuals traveling to the same location. If you have questions regarding Century, contact their office at 315-455-5151.

Each year, admissions professionals and alumni representatives attend graduate admissions fairs sponsored by the Association for Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA), Idealist.org Graduate Degrees for the Public Good Fairs, and the Diversity Alliance of Public Policy Schools (comprised of admissions representatives from the public policy programs at Maxwell, the University of Michigan, Princeton, and Carnegie Mellon). Maxwell also hosts a number of Info Sessions on university and college campuses in the United States and around the world.

Connect with Maxwell Alumni
You may also want to connect with our alumni at any of the several informal alumni happy hours planned throughout the year. An RSVP will be required for each of these events. Please identify yourself as a prospective or admitted student on the RSVP form. As these are informal alumni gatherings, there will not necessarily be anyone from the university or admissions office present. Many of these events will take place at 21 and older establishments, please be sure to have a valid government-issued photo ID if planning to attend.
