MPA Program Summer or Fall Start Completion Formats 2020-2021
In light on COVID-19, SU has made the decision that all summer courses will be taught remotely. Incoming MPA and MPA joint students can opt to get a "head start" and take two summer courses remotely in July/August 2020. For those preferring in-person formats, we are offering a Fall in-person start. Both the summer "head start" and fall in-person options have a 12 month completion program or a longer time frame incorporating an optional summer internship. Please see the 2020-2021 MPA Completion Formats below.
All students will need to select a Summer or Fall Start prior to joining us, but will have until early Spring 2021 to decide upon the 12 month or extended w/internship options available.
CHART NOTES:
^Depending
on the Core Management Course selected, this will be completed in the Fall or
Spring term and students can substitute an Elective/POS course instead.
*Since
PAI 734 Public Budgeting is a pre-requisite for several Public Finance /
Finance Management Electives, it is recommended to be completed in the fall
term in the Fall Start Options, but can be taken in the Summer II 2021 term or
Fall 2021 term.
